  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor a team of equipment technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure effective resource allocation and support team development
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of solar manufacturing equipment. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics. Identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure all equipment operations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement new technologies and best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and modifications. Prepare and present reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to support equipment-related projects and address any operational challenges
  • Act as a point of contact for equipment-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues to minimize production impact
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications or technical diplomas are a plus
  • Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is advantageous
  • Certifications in equipment maintenance or safety are preferred
