Requirements
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years building AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, or large-language-model-based workflows.
  • At least 2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or risk/compliance, with hands-on exposure to financial risk concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and expertise building multi-step AI workflows with large language models, including prompt engineering, tool integration, memory management, agent orchestration patterns, and multi-agent systems.
  • Understanding of generative artificial intelligence concepts, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, agent tool orchestration, and reasoning approaches.
  • Experience integrating AI solutions across application programming interfaces, databases, enterprise data platforms, and legacy banking environments, and architecting complex business, risk, and compliance workflows into scalable technical agent designs.
  • Ability to balance innovation with regulatory compliance and risk management through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and leadership skills sufficient to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, mentor junior developers and data analysts, and drive alignment across teams.
  • Commitment to detail, data accuracy, and quality assurance in regulated or high-stakes environments.
  • Experience designing and implementing Model Context Protocol servers for secure, structured communication between AI agents and external tools, application programming interfaces, and enterprise resources.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering teams on application development, integration, data management, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Knowledge of AI testing and evaluation principles, including assessing agent behavior across diverse scenarios and user interactions.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop AI use cases supporting credit risk, portfolio monitoring, compliance reviews, and other risk functions while aligning with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Technology to transform AI use cases into enterprise-grade agent solutions aligned with business objectives, architecture standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with Data Engineering teams to ensure data pipelines ingest, transform, and deliver trusted data in formats optimized for AI agents and automation solutions.
  • Translate complex credit, compliance, and risk workflows into scalable, auditable automated solutions with Risk leadership and domain experts.
  • Mentor junior developers and analysts and contribute to internal best practices, documentation, and the AI community of practice.
  • Own the AI agent lifecycle, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements focused on accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay current with advancements in large language models, agentic frameworks, and enterprise AI tooling.
  • Ensure agent outputs meet data quality, auditability, and compliance standards required in a regulated banking environment.
  • Support Risk Analytics with dashboards and other data-driven solutions that extract actionable insights.
  • Contribute to AI and machine learning strategy and help establish governance frameworks for responsible AI deployment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as a developer, technical lead, or architect in financial services or risk-focused environments.
  • Familiarity with credit risk concepts such as risk ratings, portfolio segmentation, credit review processes, loan underwriting, and compliance or audit frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms in production environments.
  • Working knowledge of data engineering, SQL, data pipelines, data governance, and cloud platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, or AWS.
  • Prior experience mentoring teams or leading cross-functional AI or data-driven initiatives.

CB&I upsizes senior secured credit facility to $625M following Asset Solutions acquisition

CB&I, a provider of integrated storage and asset-management solutions, has closed an upsized senior secured credit facility of $625 million, up from $400 million. The expanded facility comprises a $500 million revolving credit facility and a new $125 million Term Loan A, both maturing on 4 December 2028. The additional capacity replenishes cash used to acquire Asset Solutions, previously part of the Petrofac Group, and enhances financial flexibility for future investments. The revolving credit facility remains undrawn at closing, with CB&I having no funded debt outstanding. Citibank led the syndication, which added Goldman Sachs Bank USA and Zions Bancorporation to the lending group. Existing lenders include Truist Securities, National Bank of Canada, Webster Bank, Texas Capital Bank, Crédit Agricole CIB, Wells Fargo, and J.P. Morgan.

Texas Capital Bank beats Q2 revenue expectations with $335.5M, up 8.3% year-on-year

Texas Capital Bancshares reported second-quarter results that exceeded Wall Street expectations. Revenue rose 8.3% year on year to $335.5 million, beating analyst estimates of $333.5 million. The regional banking firm posted adjusted earnings of $1.88 per share, surpassing consensus estimates of $1.86 by 1.3%. Net interest income reached $260.4 million, though this fell slightly short of analyst projections of $262.9 million. The company's net interest margin came in at 3.3%, missing estimates of 3.4%. Its efficiency ratio was 61.3%, compared with analyst expectations of 59.9%. Over the past two years, Texas Capital Bank has achieved annualised revenue growth of 12.6%, an acceleration from its five-year compound annual growth rate of 5.8%. Net interest income accounts for 84.1% of total revenue over the last five years.

Texas Capital names Mo Jamous chief digital and information officer

Texas Capital Bancshares has appointed Mo Jamous as managing director and chief digital and information officer, effective immediately. Jamous will oversee the firm's technology strategy, including infrastructure, enterprise architecture, application development, data platforms, AI enablement, and information security. He joins from U.S. Bank, where he served as chief information officer for consumer, business banking, and AI/ML technologies. Previously, Jamous was head of global digital technologies at BBVA, leading the bank's digital transformation. Jamous will report to chairman, president, and CEO Rob C. Holmes and serve on the firm's operating council. Holmes said Jamous would strengthen the technology platform and drive innovation to support strategic objectives.
