Maritime Operations Analyst

As a Navy-Marine Corps maritime operations analyst, you’ll bring your strategic, tactical, and technical background to work on projects for Marine Corps and Navy exercise and experimentation organizations. You’ll research, analyze, assess, plan, and support live, virtual, and gaming scenarios and experiments. You’ll use your skills and expertise to assess and advance warfighting concepts with recommendations for capability development that span the DOTMLPF-P spectrum.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience with DoD organizations

• 2+ years of experience in a joint or Service Headquarters organization

• Experience with conducting strategic-level planning for the Navy or U.S. Marine Corps

• Experience with Navy or Marine Corps military operations

• Knowledge of Naval warfare and maritime capabilities

• Ability to apply military operations experience to the research and development of experimentation plans including, event planning, Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) development, data collection, assessments, and event reporting

• Ability to coordinate with multiple, non-matrixed stakeholders to gather data

• Ability to interface with other key stakeholders on issues related to allies and partners, international engagements, and strategic development

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience in working with senior executive-level officials

• Experience as an Operations Officer or Chief of Staff)

• Experience as a Navy Surface Warfare Officer

• Knowledge of U.S. military considerations globally

• Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively across the civilian and military spectrum from the Action Officer to the General Officer and Flag Officer

• Possession of excellent research and analytic skills

• Possession of excellent written communication skills

• Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
