Requirements
  • Proficient with applied mathematical statistics, design, and business systems.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing low-voltage electrical systems including sensors, motor drivers, relays, power supplies, and control circuits using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in the use of Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer, Signal generator, Multimeter, Bench power supply, Electrical fault tracing tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting capability in technical environments.

Responsibilities
  • Build mechanical and electromechanical prototype assemblies from released engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Route tubing, wiring harnesses, pumps, sensors, stepper motors, and PCBA assemblies.
  • Support rapid iteration build and configuration changes.
  • Maintain build documentation and hardware configuration tracking.
  • Assist engineers during fit, function, and performance evaluations.
  • Execute Design Verification Plan.
  • Operate automated validation systems, endurance test stands, and performance test equipment.
  • Monitor automated test scripts to ensure proper execution and accurate data capture.
  • Record detailed test data and observations.
  • Identify and report deviations, anomalies, or equipment concerns.
  • Support reliability, stress, environmental, and performance testing activities.
  • Assemble, configure, and maintain laboratory test fixtures and validation stations.
  • Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance on test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems within test setups.
  • Maintain organized, safe, and compliant lab environments.
  • Manage inventory of test components and consumables.
  • Support procurement of lab materials and equipment as needed.
  • Install and replace PCBAs and electronic components.
  • Fabricating and terminating wiring harnesses, including crimping, soldering, and connector assembly to IPC standards.
  • Perform continuity, voltage, and signal verification using diagnostic tools.
  • Assist with firmware loading and system configuration.
  • Support troubleshooting of automated test equipment and control systems.
  • Maintain accurate and controlled test records.
  • Generate factual test summaries for engineering review.
  • Document equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Follow internal quality, safety, and documentation procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Technology preferred

IDEX stock rises 18.6% on FMT, HST strength despite FSDP segment weakness

IDEX Corporation is benefitting from strong performance in its Fluid & Metering Technologies and Health & Science Technologies segments, driven by increased demand in municipal water, industrial applications and life sciences markets. The company continues expanding through acquisitions, including Micro-LAM in July 2025 and Mott Corp. in September 2024 for $1 billion, enhancing its capabilities in semiconductor, medical technologies and water purification markets. Acquisitions contributed 1% to fourth-quarter 2025 sales. IDEX remains committed to shareholder returns, paying $212.6 million in dividends in 2025 and raising its quarterly dividend to 71 cents per share. Idex Q4 earnings beat expectations at $2.10 per share on $899M revenue

Idex Corp reported fourth-quarter earnings of $2.10 per share, exceeding Wall Street expectations of $2.04 per share. The Northbrook, Illinois-based maker of the Jaws of Life device and other engineered products posted revenue of $899.1 million, beating analyst forecasts of $881.6 million. For the full year, Idex reported profit of $483.2 million, or $6.41 per share, on revenue of $3.46 billion. The company projects first-quarter earnings between $1.73 and $1.78 per share, with full-year earnings expected to range from $8.15 to $8.35 per share.
