  • Bachelor degree with 5+ years of relevant DoD experience or 9+ years of relevant DoD experience without a degree.
  • Active Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance.
  • Experience in managing or coordinating the implementation and delivery of sophisticated software systems in support of Government customers.
  • Previous experience in people and / or technical leadership roles.
  • Experience with Cloud-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Must be an existing Northrop Grumman employee with technical program tasking or must qualify for a currently-open technical position within Northrop Grumman in Rome, NY.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or IAT Level II equivalent per DoD 8570.01.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of talented software engineers and ensure quality engineering support to programs, IRADs and new business pursuits in the Mission Planning and Decision Support (MPDS) Operating Unit.
  • Provide functional leadership to the team in a strong engineering organization, collaborating with peers across multiple organizations.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve sustainable top performance.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in engineering activities related to our Intelligence, Systems, Infrastructure, Tools & Enhancements (InSITE) Program as well as other relevant Northrop Grumman Defense Systems programs.
