Healthmap Solutions helps health plans, ACOs, and provider groups manage kidney health across populations. It identifies patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD) earlier in the disease, then uses data analytics, machine learning, and clinical know-how to guide care. The company offers predictive analytics to flag at-risk patients, care management programs to support patients and their doctors, and access to a network of nephrologists and other specialists. It charges clients per member per month (PMPM) or via shared savings, aligning incentives with cost reduction. Compared with others, Healthmap specializes in kidney disease and combines analytics, clinical support, and a nephrology network within a value-based care framework. The overall goal is to slow CKD/ESRD progression, improve patient care, and lower costs for its clients.

What believers are saying

  • 2026 Top Workplaces awards support recruiting in Tampa and nursing-heavy care operations.
  • February 2026 growth brought four new clients, four renewals, and $1.5 billion spend.
  • Management targets 30% to 40% more spend under management in 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Four to five simultaneous major account implementations in 2026 strain operations and service quality.
  • Carium integration can distract engineering and clinicians while competitors copy engagement features.
  • If savings miss payer thresholds, 2027 renewals fail and Healthmap becomes a niche vendor.

What makes Healthmap Solutions unique

  • NCQA accreditation and kidney focus separate Healthmap from generalist population health vendors.
  • The 2025 Carium acquisition adds digital engagement, virtual care, and provider messaging.
  • Jonathan Gavras, named May 13, 2026, strengthens clinical credibility with payers and providers.

Healthmap Solutions wins Top Workplaces for Nursing 2026 award.

Healthmap Solutions wins Top Workplaces for Nursing 2026 award. National recognition from Nurse.com and Energage highlights employers investing in the employee experience Tampa, FL, June 10, 2026 - Healthmap Solutions announced it has been named a 2026 Top Workplace for Nursing by Nurse.com in recognition of its commitment to creating an exceptional workplace that supports and empowers nurses. Top Workplaces for Nursing is a national employer recognition award developed by Energage, the HR technology company behind the program, and Nurse.com, a community operated by Relias where more than 3 million nurses connect with peers, apply for jobs, and earn continuing education. Organizations were honored based solely on employee feedback gathered through the confidential Energage Workplace Survey. The survey measures the overall employee experience, including whether nurses feel respected and supported, enabled to grow their careers, and empowered to provide quality care. Benchmarked against their peers using Energage's national data, winners scored significantly higher in key indicators of nurse engagement and satisfaction. "Each of these winning organizations has demonstrated they provide what nurses nationwide are saying they need to stay and thrive," said Kay Krafft, Relias CEO. "I believe I speak for everyone at Nurse.com and the entire Relias family when I say it's our honor to spotlight leaders who invest in their people. Employer support helps workforces perform at their best, and nowhere is that more critical than in healthcare." "Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they're allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends."
