Wisp provides telehealth-based sexual and reproductive healthcare. It offers online consultations with qualified clinicians, including women’s health nurse practitioners, followed by prescriptions that can be picked up the same day or shipped to patients for free. The company also sells at-home testing kits for STIs, fertility, and vaginal health, expanding access to testing without in-person visits. Patients access services through a discreet, judgment-free online experience, which is especially appealing to those without insurance or who value privacy and convenience. Revenue comes from consultation fees and the sale of prescribed medications, with an affiliate program helping partners promote the service and grow the customer base. Wisp’s goal is to make affordable, private, and convenient sexual and reproductive healthcare available to more people, removing barriers related to cost, stigma, and access.

Wisp Launches Women-Focused Longevity and Healthy Aging Vertical

Wisp launches women-focused longevity and healthy aging vertical.

Wisp launches longevity suite targeting women's healthy aging with NAD+ and glutathione treatments

Wisp, the largest women's telehealth company in the US, has launched a new Longevity and Healthy Aging category, expanding into clinician-guided longevity care. The initial offering includes five science-backed treatments: glutathione, NAD+ (both available as nasal spray and injection), and low-dose naltrexone. The launch addresses a significant gap identified in a survey of nearly 2,000 women, where 75% prioritise long-term health but nearly half remain uncertain about effective interventions for female bodies. The company noted that women represent 80% of autoimmune diagnoses and face disproportionate rates of chronic fatigue and cognitive symptoms during perimenopause and menopause. Wisp serves 1.8 million patients nationwide and offers asynchronous consultations with continuous clinician oversight. Future plans include programmes for mitochondrial support, cognitive health and preventive diagnostics.

Wisp Acquires Sexual Health Platform TBD Health, Expands Into Hybrid and Enterprise Care

Wisp acquires sexual health platform TBD Health, expands into hybrid and enterprise care. Wisp, a US-based women's telehealth company, has acquired TBD Health, a sexual health platform operating across all 50 states. The deal terms were not disclosed. This marks Wisp's first acquisition and expands the company beyond direct-to-consumer care into enterprise and hybrid care models. TBD Health operates a sexual health and diagnostics platform offering STI and HIV testing, TelePrEP services, and virtual clinical support. The company has partnerships with Mount Sinai Health System, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, and Planned Parenthood Direct. "This acquisition reflects where healthcare is going and where women have been left behind," said Monica Cepak, CEO of Wisp. "TBD Health brings the infrastructure and partnerships that allow us to move into hybrid and enterprise care quickly, while staying true to Wisp's patient-first approach. Together, we are making preventative care more accessible especially to women and integrating them into proven care models." The acquisition addresses gaps in PrEP access for women. While women account for 19% of new HIV diagnoses in the United States, according to the company, most prevention models have historically been designed and marketed for men. Of the 2.4 million people eligible for PrEP treatment, only approximately 25% are currently enrolled. "By joining forces with Wisp, we can provide partners with a turnkey solution for PrEP along with sexual health diagnostics and care that integrates seamlessly into their existing workflows, ensuring no patient falls through the cracks," said Daphne Chen, co-founder of TBD Health. Wisp reports serving 1.8 million patients across the United States. The company is majority-owned by WELL Health Technologies Corp. TBD Health was co-founded by Stephanie Estey, Daphne Chen, and Sherwin Lu.
