- Candidate must be well-versed in Chinese (read, write, speak) including both Traditional and Simplified Chinese
- Strong automation skills using one of the object-oriented programming languages; C++, Java, or .NET; this experience will be used to train them on Ruby
- Strictly no Quick Test Professional (QTP)
- Automation experience is required; transition to automation is acceptable
- Good written and spoken English communication
- Working experience in a software testing environment
- Local candidates in Austin, Texas; in-person interview required
- Hybrid role combining Localization and Automation
- Experience with Ruby scripting and Cucumber is noted as part of the profile
- White boarding skills during interview or assessment
- Experience in localization testing for Chinese website (Simplified and Traditional)
Desired Qualifications
- Ruby scripting with Cucumber
- Cucumber and Jenkins exposure is desirable but not mandatory
- OOP programming language experience (C++, Java, .Net) to enable training in Ruby
- Localization QA testing background with automation
- Ability to operate in a blended localization and automation environment
