Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing and supply chain management of 3+ years (ideally in the aerospace or automotive fields)
  • Analytical and problem-solving expertise
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems (Deltek/Costpoint a plus)
Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, execute and manage vendor interactions (including submitted purchase orders and aligning strategic objectives)
  • Support procurements of a wide variety of requirements, ranging from raw material, services, fixed assets, and tooling. Opportunities to support new product introduction, production, repairs and sustainment
  • Negotiate better pricing and terms across high-dollar and volume spend areas
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential new supplier to improve quality, throughput, or pricing
  • Drive strategic initiatives for supply chain as a whole (e.g., compliance)
