Requirements
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of product management or related experience/discipline
  • At least 7 years of experience leading and managing a team

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering transformational product innovation in your industry

Responsibilities
  • Establish and oversee a high-performing FanDuel Product Transformation team
  • Clearly defined roles, objective performance management, talent development and engagement
  • Provide a clearly articulated vision for product transformation at FanDuel and develop strategies that are well aligned to long term business goals
  • Collaborate with department leaders to embed a professional culture of fearless innovation, learning and experimentation
  • Set a standard and culture of excellence in product analytics and experimentation without peer in the global sports betting industry
  • Executive and key stakeholder education and management; ensuring crystal clear understanding of, and alignment on, strategies and philosophies
  • Lead people and cross functional teams to deeply research and explore opportunities in complex and emerging technologies and how they might be best employed by FanDuel to deliver customer & commercial outcomes
  • Structure and lead cross-functional teams to deliver prototypes / MVPs on complex & emerging opportunities and technologies such as loyalty, social betting, AI and creatively improving choice, flexibility and ease of use
  • Thought leadership in identifying entirely new opportunities and avenues for delivering customer and commercial outcomes
  • Simplify complex concepts. Articulate your thoughts clearly and with impact to influence, align and inspire
  • Develop and embed deep knowledge of and relationships with the supplier/partner landscape to facilitate knowledge share and inform potential strategic partnerships or business development opportunities
  • Thought leadership in optimizing team structures and ways of working to encourage a culture of collaboration, ideation & innovation
  • Manage Director Product Strategy & Innovation
  • Diligence product battlegrounds and shape existing strategies in partnership with VP Sportsbook Product & their LT to optimize resource allocation for the ~550 employees working on sportsbook product & technology
  • Collaborate with Sportsbook Product & Technology teams and other key partners to operationalize development and delivery of big bet innovations
  • Clearly defined posture on notable areas/initiatives we're consciously not pursuing
  • Establish, monitor & report on KPIs
  • Lead, support or represent the Sportsbook Product & Pricing team on general biz dev / strategy / executive initiatives
