Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required
  • Candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in product assurance, preferably in an inspection role (receiving, in-process, or final quality control related to electronics manufacturing)
  • Must be able to pass NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA/JPL) and IPC J-STD inspection certification testing, including vision testing
  • Must have a basic knowledge of dimensional inspection tools
  • Must have the ability to interpret and apply engineering documentation (e.g., dimensioned drawings, specifications control drawings, and commercial datasheets)
  • Must have a strong attention to detail to support strict adherence to work instructions or inspection procedures
  • Must be able to support customer and AS9100 audits
  • Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday during core hours 8-5pm (these core hours are flexible)
  • Prior lead/supervisory experience leading a team of 4 or more
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Must be able to pass internal/company specific qualification tests as required by SEAKR
Responsibilities
  • Verifying documentation, materials, and products meet the purchase order and engineering drawing requirements
  • Performing basic dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, and other basic measurement tools
  • Performing basic electrical inspections such as continuity testing in accordance with engineering drawing requirements
  • Programming and performing basic to complex coordinate measuring machine measurements on SEAKR assemblies
  • Managing multiple receipts simultaneously, in different physical and electronic locations
  • Navigating an Enterprise Resource Planning system to support review, routing, and disposition of non-conforming product and/or electronic inventory transactions
  • Tracking and documenting arrival reports
  • Processing and managing supplier return material authorizations along with internal routings for rework/repair
  • Create, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures
  • Maintain an active role on internal continuous improvement teams
  • Writing and providing annual performance appraisals, along with quarterly (minimum) reviews of goals
  • Coordinating workload and training opportunities for the Receiving Inspection team
  • Coordinating with Receiving Inspection team day-to-day internal/external department communication
Desired Qualifications
  • CMM/CMM Manager programming and/or operational experience
  • Proficient knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
  • Training/Certification to requirements for electronic assemblies (e.g., J-STD, IPC-A-610 or similar)
  • Experience operating inspection or test equipment (e.g., X-ray, XRF)
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (e.g., Kronos, IFS, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
