Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in social science research
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience in project management, analysis, design of assessments, design, and implementation of performance measurement systems, and strategic planning
  • Significant portion of work experience should be in justice or social systems
  • Knowledge of U.S. Department of Justice and its justice programs
  • Knowledge of Project Management Institute project management best practices and financial management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team working in remote locations
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the client to clearly define their needs and expectations to ensure proper design and implementation
  • Provide oversight on the technical design and quality of performance management activities
  • Manage a team of M&E professionals and subject matter experts to complete a range of M&E tasks in a collaborative and timely manner that results in high-quality deliverables
  • Lead the development of effective strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation tools for our client, its sub-offices, and the grantees
  • Manage a team to design and facilitate capacity-building efforts around performance management for the client and grantees
  • Collaborate with the client to actively use performance management data for ongoing learning and evidence-based decision-making
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure overall management of tasks and finances for all BPA activities
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree (MA, MS) in social science research
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
