Requirements
  • Work closely with the Art Director, 3D artists, and Engineers to provide tools and asset pipeline assistance
  • Provide expertise and support regarding game VFX, lighting, shader creation, and material optimization
  • Own major areas of the art development process and give solutions and suggestions for improvement across the art and engineering disciplines
  • Playtest with the team and assess the role of game visuals as a holistic part of the player experience
  • 5+ years of professional Technical Art experience, preferably in the Unity Game Engine
  • An understanding of game art rendering and lighting pipelines, including HLSL shader coding experience
  • Previous experience in VFX creation and support
  • Familiarity with Houdini or an industry-standard equivalent
  • Excellent Communication and active listening skills, and an eagerness to collaborate with artists & non-artists
