The primary objective of this role is to gain a competitive edge and enhance overall sales performance by improving finance availability and ease of use. The position will be tasked with generating finance revenue and profit through the sale of finance and insurance products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with Large Dollar or Multi-Unit Deals: Collaborate on significant deals to secure finance approval, particularly those involving substantial amounts or multiple units.
- Monitor and Increase Finance Approval Rating: Continuously monitor, manage, and enhance the overall finance approval rating for end-user finance, ensuring a high success rate.
- Develop Relationships with Lending Agencies: Actively develop and nurture relationships with various lending agencies to broaden finance options and improve approval rates.
- Manage Documentation and Lender Funding Process: Ensure timely completion of documentation to expedite deals and closely monitor the lender funding process to avoid delays.
- Promote Leasing Partners and Processes: Research, develop, and promote leasing partners and processes necessary to effectively compete in all markets represented by the company.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all finance transactions adhere to local, state, and federal regulations governing finance activities.
- Expand Finance Vendor Network: Identify and establish relationships with additional finance vendors that meet ASCO’s stringent working requirements.
- Increase Insurance Sales: Enhance sales of extended warranties and physical damage insurance on new, used, and conversion sales by developing programs, contests, training sessions, and quoting tools.
- Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the ASCO Marketing team to internally and externally promote finance and insurance products, providing necessary education and support.
- Support Used Department: Collaborate with the ASCO Used Department to promote sales through finance programs, including extended warranties and insurance products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in finance and insurance sales within the automotive or similar industry.
- Strong understanding of finance and leasing principles and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in G-Suite, MS Word & Excel.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
