Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain airport security clearance, including an extensive check of the last five years of employment, criminal record, and residence history.
  • Must have at least one year of face-to-face customer service experience in a hotel, restaurant, private club, lounge, or similar setting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 14 kilograms.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and irregular shifts, including late evening shifts.
  • Must be able to communicate with customers and fellow employees and serve as a team player under all types of conditions.
  • If the work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests, communicating with them by name whenever possible.
  • Offer amenities to guests as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests for assistance or information about airport and airline operations.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Communicate with food attendants to ensure food products meet high standards of freshness and appearance.
  • Replenish items as needed.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following all company workplace rules and regulations.
  • Maintain service expectations at all times.
  • Maintain and observe New York health and safety standards.
  • Verify passengers’ eligibility to access the lounge and welcome entitled passengers.
  • Observe that the lounge is replenished and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure proper setup is completed for morning, afternoon, and evening operations.
  • Take reasonable care for personal and others’ health, wellbeing, safety, and security while at work.
  • Cooperate with managers and supervisors to comply with legal requirements imposed on the company.
  • Report work situations, equipment, or activities that represent a serious or immediate danger to health, wellbeing, safety, or security.
  • Report hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences according to company and carrier safety and security procedures.
  • Carry out work in accordance with provided information, training, and applicable health, wellbeing, safety, and security procedures.
  • Understand AGI health, safety, and security policies.
  • Attend training courses required by AGI.
