The Finance Operations Associate assists the Director of Finance Operations and works closely with each regional and coalition fundraising team to assist in the creation and maintenance of major donor event materials in NGP such as event sign-up and contribution forms online, and tracking and managing vetting and compliance requirements for major donor fundraising and engagement events. The Finance Operations Associate also travels across the country and regularly staffs major donor fundraising events.

This position is based in Washington, DC. The applicant must be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have political campaign experience.

In this position you will (Responsibilities/Duties):

Assist with the finance team’s event materials creation and maintenance such as sign-up and contribution forms created on NGP.
Assist with the finance team’s vetting and compliance requirements and process.
Manage team-wide trackers and spreadsheets and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Assist in finance operations special projects.
Coordinate with internal DNC departments on behalf of the operations team.
Travel and staff finance events as needed.
Other duties as assigned to support the department.

Working knowledge of NGP database is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of Google Suite.

Error-free written communications.
Ability to work and build relationships with leaders, staff, and members at all levels.
Travel may be required.

The Finance Operations Associate position will require travel, which could be up to 30% of the time.

The starting salary for the Finance Operations Associate position is $51,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek, and has an end date of November 15, 2024.
