Requirements
  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.
  • Five years of driving experience is strongly preferred, including flatbed, step deck, or lowboy experience, with two years of verified heavy-haul experience preferred.
  • Experience with construction equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations is required.
  • Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, federal traffic laws, and state traffic laws is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or safety issues is required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movement, reach with the hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, push, pull, and climb ladders or steps is required.
  • Ability to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, and vibrations is required.
Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver materials and transport time-sensitive, high-priority loads.
  • Maintain appropriate paperwork and logbooks.
  • Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Observe and report mechanical and safety failures.
  • Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing the vehicle.
  • Participate in labor assignments when needed.
  • Work under the direction of construction supervisors.
  • Work Monday through Friday and remain home on weekends when the schedule permits.
