Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field.
  • Interest in compliance, including regulatory and legal affairs.
  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain organized records of compliance-related materials, including policies, procedures, training content, and audit documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating with audit teams, tracking findings, and assisting with corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports on compliance activities and key metrics, identifying potential risks.
  • Assist in assessing compliance risks and collaborating with departments on mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to investigations of compliance issues under the Compliance Manager’s direction.
  • Support the development and rollout of compliance policies, procedures, and employee training.
  • Stay current on relevant regulations and industry standards and help ensure organizational adherence.
  • Foster a culture of compliance through communication and awareness initiatives.
  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
