Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is looking for a dedicated System Administrator to join our team. The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software, and related infrastructure.
· Participate in technical research and development (R&D) discussions/activities to enable continued innovation;
· Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, governing system policies and the multi-factor authentication mechanisms securing the enterprise;
· Experience in datacenter, server environment, and installing and supporting production servers and user workstation enterprise environment;
· Ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures, adhere to organizational standards;
· Be accountable for administering both on premise and cloud-based Microsoft Windows Systems/Domains, Linux servers;
· Support storage platforms including Linux Ceph storage and EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) / Network Attached Storage (NAS) products associated with DITU collections and processing networks; and
· Demonstrate proficiency in the use of PowerShell to perform administration as needed.
This position is on-site in Quantico, VA and may have the potential to offer hybrid support, subject to customer approval. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a CI poly.
Required Qualifications:
- Five (5) or more years systems administration experience, consisting of managing and maintaining Windows AD environment on premise and/or cloud;
- Experience in Microsoft SCCM / MECM for deploying software, enforcing security patch compliance and reporting;
- Mastery knowledge and experience managing and maintaining Cisco’s UCS, VMware virtualized server/workstation environment, AWS hybrid cloud and storage platforms including EMC Isilon NAS and Ceph Linux based storage platforms; and
- Experience in datacenter, server environment, and installing and supporting production servers and user workstation enterprise environment;
- Education: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field of study, or, at the discretion of the government PM, a combination of experience and comparable technical certifications such as Microsoft (minimum Associate level, prefer Expert); LPI, RHCSA® or RHCE®, or UCP; Cisco (Professional or Expert) may be substituted for education.
