Requirements
- 2+ years of direct people management experience
- 2+ years of experience in merchant credit risk and underwriting
- 4+ years working in the fraud or risk industry
- Experience working with risk and fraud mitigations systems, tools, and strategies
- Strong ability to motivate, coach, mobilize, and lead a diverse 100% remote team
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Risk Analysts that monitor fraudulent or risky transaction activity and merchant accounts, underwrite merchant accounts for credit risk, and work various other workflows under the risk umbrella
- Work alongside the Senior Manager of Fraud Operations to develop, launch, and lead innovative and scalable operational programs, SOPs, and systems
- Lead and improve the performance of day-to-day fraud and risk operations with strategic scheduling, escalation support, and continuous improvement programs
- Support team growth and expansion with thoughtful planning, training, and hiring
- Identify, document, and help to improve gaps in current systems, policies, programs, products, and strategies
- Take swift and strategic actions to avoid the latest fraud trends and risks
- Support and lead team members that work various hours of the day, night, weekends, and holidays to suit business needs
- Support team culture through thoughtful and meaningful programs and initiatives

- Experience in payments or eCommerce
- Ability to lead with humility and work alongside your team
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and thought leadership
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects at once
- This position will work alongside a team that operates in a PT time zone
