Responsibilities
  • Installation: Install avionics systems and equipment, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on avionics systems to ensure they are functioning correctly. Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise.
  • Testing: Conduct functional and operational tests of avionics systems using specialized test equipment to ensure proper performance and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Ensure all documentation complies with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Calibration: Calibrate avionics systems and equipment to ensure accurate performance.
  • Upgrades: Perform software updates and hardware upgrades on avionics systems as required.
  • Training: Stay current with new technologies and advancements in avionics systems. Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any unsafe conditions or practices to the appropriate personnel.
