Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, or data integration, ideally within healthcare or revenue cycle management.
  • Proven expertise in SQL and relational database design, including advanced query development and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of ETL principles, data quality management, and integration best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Savista Implementation team to understand new client data structures, business processes, and system requirements.
  • Define, document, and manage data mapping from client source systems to Savista’s RCM data model.
  • Identify and document required data transformations, validation rules, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Work closely with the Data Management development team to deliver high-quality, validated integrations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Savista’s RCM workflow, ensuring integrated data accurately supports and drives operational processes such as billing, payments, claims, and reporting.
  • Manage scrum boards for all Data Management and Integration activities, tracking progress, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups as needed to maintain alignment between business and technical teams.
  • Proactively identify blockers or dependencies, escalating and coordinating resolutions with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of mapping artifacts, transformation logic, and integration specifications.
  • Perform advanced SQL queries for data profiling, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Apply strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL) to ensure optimal data performance and accuracy.
  • Support the design, testing, and validation of data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with QA and implementation teams to verify data accuracy, workflow functionality, and overall system readiness prior to go-live.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare data formats (e.g., 270/271 EDI, 835/837 EDI, HL7) preferred.
  • Familiarity with RCM workflows, including Eligibility, Self-Pay, Bad-Debt, claim submission, payment posting, and denials management, a strong plus.
