Requirements
  • Must be a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills are required.
  • The ability to work with children, families, and therapists and to follow company policies and procedures is required.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee a small student caseload, including assessments such as ABLLS and VB-MAPP, Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Intervention Plans, strategy updates, and Individualized Education Program goals.
  • Communicate and collaborate with parents and district representatives, including providing parent training.
  • Provide ongoing training and supervision to Behavior Technicians by observing them weekly, overseeing Registered Behavior Technician competency assessments, collecting Interobserver Agreement and Treatment Integrity data, and providing feedback.
  • Assist Directors by drafting documentation and participating in disciplinary meetings with staff.
  • Provide individual and group Board-Certified Behavior Analyst supervision, create curriculum, and conduct monthly training.
  • Assist with new clinical supervisor training and review paperwork before submission to the Director for final review.
  • Provide ongoing training, support, and consultation to Clinical Supervisors.
  • Assist the Director with conducting interviews and hiring new staff.
  • Assist with creating and modifying the daily schedule.
  • Attend Committee on Special Education meetings and complete subsequent paperwork, including overseeing initial meetings for new students and assisting during annual review meetings.
  • Complete quarterly progress reports for assigned students.
  • Travel to and work from other assigned locations to assist learners transitioning from interim placement to district placement, and provide ongoing transition support.
  • Support a safe environment for staff and learners by using PMT strategies during crises.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification as a New York State Special Education Teacher.
  • Certification and experience in crisis management, such as PMT or CPI.

A multi-disciplinary team delivers services such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), special instruction, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and mental health support, all aimed at understanding each person’s needs and teaching skills that increase independence and improve quality of life. The approach centers on tailoring supports to the individual and coordinating multiple specialists under one umbrella to address behavioral, educational, and developmental goals. Unlike providers who offer limited services, Family of Kidz combines multiple therapies and supports in one coordinated program, helping clients progress from birth through adulthood. The goal is to help individuals with special needs overcome barriers to progress and gain new skills for greater independence and better outcomes.
