Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, EAP, LOA, STD, LTD, and FMLA.
  • Administer and manage all aspects of FMLA and state-specific leave laws, ensuring compliance with regulations in CA, MA, PA, WV, and other applicable states.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors, managing relationships and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Manage and coordinate the annual open enrollment process, including communication, education, and enrollment activities.
  • Administer the 401(k) plan, including compliance and audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA regulations and manage the preparation and distribution of 1095 forms, ensuring compliance with ACA regulations.
  • Process employee lifecycle changes and updates in benefits systems.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the benefits function and update the Benefits Procedures Manual.
  • Provide backup for HRIS, benefits, and compensation administration.
  • Handle routine employee inquiries related to benefits, providing accurate and timely information and assistance.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement benefits policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with changes in benefits laws and regulations, ensuring the company’s benefits programs remain compliant.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of benefits education and communication programs for employees.
