Requirements

Ability to evaluate Business Requirement Documents and Rule Requirements to identify data needs
Understanding the Software development lifecycle
Analyze and document detailed source to target data element requirements
Experience performing end to end data validation and testing
Demonstrated understanding of XML and strong experience using XML viewers such as Altova XML Spy
Experience performing complex data research and analysis
Experience with Data architecture and various forms of data management
Understanding of data flow concepts and data mapping
Experience defining and executing testing scripts
Facilitate data requirement gathering sessions
Experience with developing queries (SAS, SQL) via database tools
Mortgage Origination Industry knowledge
Knowledge of Cobol/Argent (CobRRA/Argent) is a plus
2+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Experience to define data requirements, document data flows and translations, recommend data testing strategies, create data testing scenarios (Unit, IST, UAT) and perform data testing for source to target data between

Responsibilities

Evaluate and interpret data related requirements and map data needs
Participate in end to end data validation and testing processes
Document source to target data element requirements and data flow concepts
Create and execute data testing strategies and testing scenarios (Unit, Integrated, System/User Acceptance Testing)
Facilitate data requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders
Develop and validate queries using SAS and SQL through database tools
Support data architecture and data management activities related to mortgage origination
Collaborate with teams to ensure data quality and compliance with risk management requirements
Prepare and document data testing results and issues for resolution
Provide communication and documentation support to stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Rule Based Systems
Mortgage Origination Industry knowledge
Knowledge of Cobbra/Argent is a plus
2+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both (if not already in requirements)
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (advanced usage like Excel modeling, data visualization)
