Requirements
  • Ph.D. in neuroscience, biomedical/mechanical engineering, kinesiology, robotics, rehabilitation science, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in human subjects research
  • Proficiency in signal processing and data analysis for human movement or physiological data
  • Strong programming skills in MATLAB and C++
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a record of scientific publications
Responsibilities
  • Lead recruitment, experimental data collection, and data analysis for human subjects research.
  • Develop and apply computational models and algorithms to support robotic augmentation studies.
  • Contribute to manuscript preparation and dissemination of findings at conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams across Northeastern and ETH Zürich.
  • Provide mentorship for graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Assist in grant preparation and lab management activities as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with computational modeling of movement or motor control
  • Experience in Linux-based environments
  • Experience mentoring students and contributing to grant proposals
  • Some experience in fabrication (e.g. 3D printing)
