Requirements
  • Must be a current student, enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program at an accredited college or university
  • Must be eligible to receive academic credit from their college or university for the duration of the internship
  • Basic understanding of the music industry and A&R
  • Interest in pursuing a career in artists and repertoire (A&R)
  • Skills in basic Microsoft Office and Internet research
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proactive, detailed oriented, possess good follow-through, and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills are preferred
  • Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa
Responsibilities
  • Researching new artists through various means
  • Coordinate detailed bi-weekly A&R research reports and other scouting projects
  • Monitor and report on various charts domestically and internationally
  • Complete various tasks for the A&R admin manager
  • Assist and participate in coordination of record production
  • Cover studio sessions
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure artist projects are complete and submitted on time
