Withum’s Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) Group is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our growing team in either our Bethesda, MD or our Princeton, NJ office. This is not a remote position.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Supervising staff accountant and clerks 
• Reviewing and approving payments to vendors / contractors 
• Reviewing and approving payroll 
• Handling month end close process 
• Reviewing and approving all proposed JEs
• Reviewing all reconciliations for Balance sheet accounts
• Monthly Financial Reporting including FS, narratives and dashboards
• Budgeting / Cash flow forecasting 
• Working with Leadership of organizations. 
• Facilitation of outside annual audits 
• Ensuring proper internal controls and enhancement of processes

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
• 3+ years of accounting experience.  
• Outstanding communication skills 
• Preferably experience with Intacct, QBO and/or NetSuite Accounting System. 
• Willingness to travel to client sites in the MA area

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications. Washington D.C. ranges are from $80,000 - $95,000
