Door-to-Door Canvasser | FT Contract | Ohsweken, ON & Surrounding Areas

*This is a 5-week contract beginning Aug 17th, 2026 and ending the week of: September 20th, 2026*

Though this is a contract role, successful employees may be offered an opportunity for extension or transfer to another program at the end of the contract.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Door-to-Door Canvassers who will approach and engage potential voters in the riding of Brantford-Brant South-Six Nations. This is frontline, physically active work. You’ll be on your feet, walking the neighborhood, working outdoors in all-weather conditions, and using your personal vehicle to travel between assigned areas. We’re looking for people who are comfortable working in the field, confident speaking with the public, and committed to doing the work properly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing within your assigned neighborhoods on behalf of a political party in order to help better understand the views of voters
• Ask standardized questions and accurately capture responses
• Collect contact information when voluntarily provided
• Represent OSL and our clients with professionalism and integrity

What does it take to succeed in this role?

• Confident, composed, and comfortable engaging with the public
• Detail-oriented and disciplined in following scripts and protocols
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset

Requirements:

• You are a conservative voter, or you are bipartisan and have no political affiliations
• Full-Time Availability:Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (12:00PM-8:00PM), Sunday (10:00AM-6:00PM)
• Comfortable with standing, walking, being on your feet for extended periods of time
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Smartphone required for field data collection
