Requirements
  • A college diploma in business administration, commerce, finance, business intelligence, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in strategic planning and business analysis.
  • Experience in operations, program management, finance, or marketing.
  • Experience planning and implementing continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Experience developing business cases, business plans, and business activity reports.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Project-management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Analytical, strategic-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the business-planning lead to gather and document detailed stakeholder requirements for the business plan, annual report, and business cases.
  • Work with the business-planning and business-intelligence team to accurately document operational needs and objectives and align them with overall strategic goals.
  • Define the scope and parameters of business plans.
  • Evaluate business-case requirements by gathering information, participating in discussions, and conducting cross-validation activities to establish the scope and parameters for the requested analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documents covering operational processes, requirements, cost analyses, and workflow models.
  • Work with the business-planning and business-intelligence team to establish data sources and collection methods and ensure data quality.
  • Analyze data, develop and present multiple alternatives, and assess their economic and operational impact to recommend the best strategies for the business plan.
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, existing processes, and projects.
  • Ensure documentation supports the development and presentation of the business plan, incorporating input and review from the business-planning lead and business-planning and business-intelligence team.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in consultation with the business-planning lead.
  • Monitor work progress, ensure business plans are executed within prescribed timelines, and promptly identify and address delays or potential issues.
