General Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced UX Designer to join our growing product team. As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our web and desktop applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, translate those needs into actionable design solutions, and iterate on those solutions to ensure they are effective and delightful.

Responsibilities:

·Understand and appreciate business goals and product vision and translate these into compelling and user-centric design concepts

·Conduct user research to understand user needs, motivations, and pain points

·Create user personas and journey maps to empathize with users and identify opportunities for improvement

·Develop information architecture and user flows to ensure a seamless user experience 

·Design user interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing, and accessible

·Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback

·Collaborate in person, in our San Diego office in a hybrid work environment, with cross-functional teams to align design solutions and to ensure designs are implemented effectively

·Conduct usability testing to identify design issues and provide adequate and elegant solutions

·Stay up-to-date on the latest UX trends, best practices and emerging technologies to ensure designs are cutting-edge and user friendly

Minimum Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or a related field

·3+ years of experience as a UX Designer

Preferred Qualifications:

·Experience with web and desktop application design

·Solid expertise in creating user personas, journey maps, information architecture, and user flows

·Proficiency in wireframing, creating mockups, and prototyping using Figma

·Strong understanding of user research methodologies

·Strong understanding of CSS

·Excellent communication and collaboration skills

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·Passion for understanding user pain points and creating user-centered designs to address them

·Familiarity with modern web frameworks like React, Angular

·Experience with data visualizations

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$118,400.00 - $177,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
