Requirements
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Systems engineering, or related fields.
  • 5-10 years of design engineering experience (electronics)
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • The applicant shall have a thorough understanding of formal design process of embedded system development from the concept, design, planning, requirements, description, and report generation.
  • The applicant should be familiar with and have prior experience with ground-up digital system design, serial and network-based protocols.
  • Experience with schematic capture, simulation, PWB layout.
  • Experience with design integration, verification and validation.
Responsibilities
  • Be the primary designer and developer for all electrical/electronic aspects of the system design.
  • Ensure that the solution design meets regulatory requirements and qualification criteria and that program documentary obligations are created and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Provide product lifecycle support for testing, deployment, and updates.
  • Work with minimal supervision and be proactive with providing timely status updates and reports to program management.
  • Support proposal preparation, customer presentations and program milestone meetings.
