Requirements
  • Considerable experience as a clinician providing therapy in a range of settings is ideally required.
  • Enthusiasm to work within a multidisciplinary team environment is required.
  • The candidate must have their own vehicle and a current full driver's licence.
  • The candidate must be a degree-qualified Occupational Therapist.
  • The candidate must hold current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the assigned clinical team toward the organisation's vision and values by inspiring and supporting team members to develop as clinical leaders.
  • Conduct quality supervision sessions with clinicians on the team.
  • Support team members in achieving their clinical utilisation.
  • Assist management with recruiting new clinicians who embody the organisation's values.
  • Facilitate and continually review the new staff induction program to maximise its effectiveness.
  • Foster and maintain a positive team culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for each team member.
  • Ensure quality assurance is maintained across all documentation.
  • Manage site issues related to workplace health and safety, space allocation, and resources.
  • Seek and capture feedback from clients.

  • Demonstrated experience in positively leading other clinicians in the ongoing development of their clinical skills.
