Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of the annual training strategy aligned with brand marketing strategic imperatives.
  • Lead and work within cross-functional teams consisting of Training, Medical/Clinical, Marketing, Sales Management, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, other company groups, and external vendor partners.
  • Have fiscal responsibility for multiple budgets.
  • Develop direct reports by ensuring customized onboarding plans are developed and followed.
  • Create an engaging, high-performing culture with cross-functional partners and training leadership.
  • Provide training design and development support.
  • Lead and manage initiative and program design efforts involving external and internal organizations.
  • Represent the Field Training leadership team.
  • Build and lead a team of trainers that develops curriculum to foster leadership attributes and advance selling capabilities.
  • Use artificial intelligence, adaptive learning, and experiential training approaches.
  • Develop and implement a proactive approach to measuring learning impact, using data to update curriculum and design future learning approaches.
  • Interact with and influence all levels of line management to plan, design, and develop learning strategies supporting business objectives for assigned sales franchises.
  • Foster accountability among self, direct reports, the Field Training department, commercial stakeholders, nurse ambassadors, and training participants.
  • Lead the training strategy process, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of performance-focused training curricula.
  • Develop the franchise training team through coaching and leadership for current trainer roles and future commercial leadership opportunities.
  • Build effective relationships with Senior Commercial Management, cross-functional partners, Marketing, Training and Development, and other learning-initiative groups to drive performance through consistent commercial training.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in hematology-oncology and/or Multiple Myeloma is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building a launch training journey and curriculum is strongly preferred.
  • A technical degree, or a degree in business or a related field combined with relevant training and sales experience, is preferred.
