THE ROLE
As our Sales Coordinator, you will join our local sales team in a hyper-growth phase. We have changed our business model to direct-to-customer, leaving us in need of passionate sales support and wider operations professionals. You will act as the bridge between customers, our local sales team, and our production and operations team overseas. You will have full responsibility for handling any inquiries, both internal and external.
Externally, you will work with teams from the largest retailer in the market to discuss lead times, work on price updates, handle sample deliveries, and onboard new products using the retailer’s specific systems.
Internally, you will work with our Country Manager and Key Account Managers to prepare line review meetings, conduct deep dives into sales reports and category data, and collaborate with our global marketing team to execute our marketing efforts in the local markets.

The most impactful contribution you can make is by proactively acquiring in-depth knowledge about the nitty-gritties of our local market and the broader ZURU operations. With a mindset that aligns with the ZURU DNA, you can confidently tackle any challenges, opportunities, and tasks, enabling our sales team to formulate strategies for ZURU’s market domination.
You take the lead and work collaboratively and effectively across various cross-functional teams to bring exciting activations to life in all retailers across Canada.
You excel in working and prioritizing with the local team on multiple seasonal deliverables while maintaining your day-to-day contributions.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Keep regional price lists up to date, aligning them with global master prices to ensure consistency and competitiveness.
- Monitor quotes and order statuses to effectively track sales activities.
- Utilize retailer performance data to prepare accurate sales forecasts and conduct account-specific sales analytics.
- Prepare sample deliveries to send out to the largest retailer in the market.
- Maintain high data hygiene within the sales database and keep operations files updated for smooth workflow.
- Represent ZURU at regional toy fairs, establishing valuable connections and generating leads.
- Facilitate smooth order processing by promptly forwarding order confirmations to the merchandise team and ensuring orders are raised in the system.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to coordinate production schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
YOU WILL BRING
- Relevant experience in sales support, preferably within the toy or consumer packaged goods industry.
- Proficient Excel skills for analyzing sales and category data.
- Proficient PowerPoint skills for creating account presentations.
- Familiarity with SAP, as it will be used to extract data.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
