  • You have been an organizer and have overseen staff on electoral or issue campaigns and understand both what is needed to pull off successful events and gain press attention
  • You have a track record of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • You're comfortable with cold calling constituents, vendors, and partners
  • You have a demonstrated commitment to a just and inclusive economy that delivers opportunity and dignity to everyone and preserves and strengthens our democracy
  • You have experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities, specifically marginalized communities, in considering the impact and outcomes of decision-making
  • You are team-oriented, well-organized, and can keep multiple trains running on time
  • You show initiative and you're a utility player who is flexible in responding to new tasks and responsibilities to get the job done

Responsibilities
  • Support the organizing activities of several issue advocacy campaigns across congressional districts, which may include but are not limited to events, press conferences, rallies, round tables, and bus tours
  • Collaborate with The Hub's communications, research, and digital teams to ensure that local partners have resources to effectively advocate on a variety of important issues
  • Coach and support on the ground organizers and staff to create a drumbeat of activity
  • Draft actionable campaign plans and strategies that take into account The Hub Project's diverse set of resources and talent for short-term and long-term objectives
  • Track and report qualitative and quantitative metrics on the successes of the program
  • Build, sustain, and strengthen relationships with external stakeholders and local coalition partners at the state-level
  • Perform other duties as assigned
