Requirements
- Leadership experience.
- Knowledge and expertise in NoSQL and big data technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Linux.
- Demonstrated programming skills in one or more of Bash or shell scripting, Python, Perl, and automation.
- Working knowledge of databases, including the ability to write and tune SQL queries.
- Experience working with large data volumes, processing more than 1 GB of data per day.
- Experience in analytical insights.
- A bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the data processing field.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical designs of data repositories for various types of data access.
- Design and develop scalable, robust implementations of algorithms provided by data analysts and data scientists.
- Lead a small team of Data Engineers, mentor team members, oversee their design and implementation work, and ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
- Work closely with Product Management, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists to ensure that implemented solutions are built as desired.
