Requirements
  • Three to five years of prior work experience in Corporate Debt Capital Markets, covering United Kingdom and/or Italian corporate clients.
  • Education to degree level, preferably in a numerical discipline such as economics or finance.
  • Good understanding of fixed-income products and market dynamics.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with significant understanding of credit fundamentals and balance-sheet analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and financial modelling.
  • Mastery of Bloomberg tools.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and with multiple teams or individuals, and to prioritize work.
  • Customer focus with communication, negotiation, commercial, and analytical skills.
  • Solid professional writing skills.
  • FCA approval, or the ability to obtain the relevant certification upon joining the role.
Responsibilities
  • Assist senior Debt Capital Markets Corporates Europe originators in analysing the funding needs and credit fundamentals of European corporate clients.
  • Prepare and supervise client pitches, handle proposal requests, and keep clients updated on credit-market analysis.
  • Prepare regular pricing updates in coordination with Bond Syndicates in Europe and the United States.
  • Prepare value-added materials and identify market opportunities using Bloomberg, macroeconomic research, desk analysts, client-specific news, and other market sources.
  • Participate in deal teams and coordinate and support deal execution, including due diligence, legal and documentation aspects, investor feedback, marketing materials, and deal reviews.
  • Support and assist with organizing client events and commercial actions, including webinars and roadshows.
  • Build direct cross-functional relationships and liaise with Relationship Managers, Syndicate, Capital Solutions, Liability Management, Debt Advisory, Credit Research, Credit Analysts, and ESG Credit teams to improve cooperation and generate ideas for corporate clients.
