Requirements
- This position requires access to technology, software and other information that is subject to governmental access control restrictions, due to export controls. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests and ensure that the check-in is handled in accordance with company policy
- Organize office and assist employees in ways that optimize productivity
- Manage logistics of hosting external visitors and employees from other offices
- Lead planning and coordination of company events including team-building events, site visits, and demos
- Coordinate and schedule phone, video, and in-person interviews
- Onboard new employees and manage account and workspace tool set up for new hires
- Assist in office space and resource planning, procurement, and maintenance of office equipment and furniture
- Maintain onsite inventory of office supplies, snacks, and drinks
- Assist in communications with facilities vendors and partners, including janitorial, catering, maintenance, and security personnel
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
Desired Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in an office manager or equivalent role with startup experience or small to mid-size engineering companies
- Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 25 lbs
- Experience with administrative tasks and event planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to juggle many different projects and to work independently with minimal direction
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms) and in working with digital tools for project management, communication, password management, etc
- Ability to work well with others is a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
