Who we are looking for
State Street is looking for a senior leader who can lead the development of critical transaction management applications. This role requires the senior leader to closely work with business partners, help with the analysis of the new business demand, provide implementation support, and coordinate the technical/residency related upgrades.
What you will be responsible for
As Senior leader and Application Owner, you will
· Work independently to meet with business users, do requirement analysis, and write Functional Specification Document.
· Work with Product Owners and Development teams on the business requirements and contribute to the use case implementation.
· Manage the release scope and deployment plans.
· Work with Data Governance team to follow the data policy and standards.
· Manage business demands and resource allocation.
· Provide day to day support to business inquiries to the owned application that involves 200+ use cases.
· Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the scrum/agile methodology including attending sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
· Work with Development teams on Information Security Risk Management Profile/Recertification/Attestation/Aged Passwords/Vulnerability Remediation and server upgrade/patches to make sure the application is stable, resilient and compliant.
· Support flexible working hours for night meetings and weekend deployment when there is a need.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
· 10+ years business system analyst experience in Financial Industry
· Experience in SQL language is highly desirable
· Good understanding of Financial Products is highly desirable
· Good understanding of data and terminologies related to Accounting, Custody, Corp Actions, Cash, Trades, FX, Interest, Dividends is highly desirable
· Basic understanding of IBM MQ, Kafka, XML, JSON, SQL Server, Oracle, S3, Databricks, and Snowflake
· Knowledgeable of software development
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills
· Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
· Experience working with an Agile development methodology is desired

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
