Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience (in-house experience is not essential), with a strong background in a PEO company and any related law matter
  • You will be proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally
  • You will be able to meet tight deadlines
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
  • You will also work closely with the customer success team to provide daily advice on PEO law, employment laws in general and regulations in order to answer clients' queries. You will draft and review PEO commercial agreements, employment agreements, employee handbooks and any other document in order to be compliant with local employment laws
  • In addition, you will provide counsel to local management and the Human Resources team on a broad range of employment issues including: recruiting; hiring; employee relations; discipline and terminations; working time compliance (including shift working, overtime), internal investigations; leaves of absence; discrimination and harassment issues; contingent worker issues; compensation, benefits, bonus and equity awards; employment litigation; negotiated exits and settlements
