At least five years of experience in the equipment rental or related industry is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role (leading teams or overseeing multiple locations), with a track record of driving results and operational improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the use of data to inform strategy and decision-making.
Willingness to travel regularly to various branch locations within the region. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for travel.
Responsibilities
Oversee and standardize the process of inspecting rental equipment for damage, safety compliance, proper decals, fuel levels, etc., across all branches to ensure every unit is safe, presentable, and in good working order for profitable use.
Monitor each piece of equipment’s life cycle across the district and provide strategic guidance on repairs, rotations, or replacements to maximize the value and rental potential of our fleet.
Ensure each branch maintains an organized, clean warehouse and yard, enforcing safety protocols and regulations to provide a secure work environment at all locations.
Coordinate with branch service teams to schedule and prioritize mechanics and technicians for equipment repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring minimal downtime.
Maintain high standards for equipment appearance across all locations, ensuring all rental items are clean, properly tagged or decaled, and visually appealing to customers.
Implement and oversee effective inventory tracking so that all rental equipment is in its correct location and properly tagged at each branch, enabling easy identification and transfer of assets when needed.
Review regional market trends and rental data to develop pricing and product strategies for each branch’s market. Discuss and recommend adjustments to optimize rental revenue and remain competitive across the district.
Lead, mentor, and develop branch rental managers and their teams, fostering an energetic, proactive, and customer-focused culture that aligns with our values across all branches.
Collaborate with senior leadership to set performance goals for the district’s rental operations, and drive initiatives to achieve and exceed those targets. Analyze branch performance metrics and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
