Requirements
  • Be an attorney in good standing and licensed to practice law in Kansas.

Responsibilities
  • Enforce and collect child and spousal support orders issued in Douglas County domestic cases.
  • Review and modify child support orders.
  • Meet with self-represented litigants or retained counsel regarding child support or spousal support issues.
  • Prepare discovery requests, pleadings, and child support worksheets.
  • Prepare cases for and attend the weekly trial docket.
  • Maintain a working relationship with paralegals and court staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of litigation experience in domestic law or two years of support enforcement experience.
