Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Engineering (or related science discipline). Non-engineering or non-science majors will not be considered for this role
  • 12 years of related experience (or 10+ years with a Master’s degree)
  • 8+ years of experience in C4ISR systems design, including large-scale enterprise integrated battle management systems and tactical radio networks. Please note this role is not for operators of certain tools, radio operators, or ISR analysts. This is a solution architect position and requires the candidate to be able to design complete solutions based on customers’ needs
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • C4ISR Architecture: Develop and design C4ISR architectures that leverage existing customer equipment while integrating cutting-edge technologies to meet specific and evolving customer needs.
  • Emphasis on Utilizing AI: Integrating artificial intelligence within the C4I space to enhance system capabilities and data analysis.
  • Driving Strategy for Customer Adoption: Developing and implementing strategies to drive customer adoption of new and modernized C4ISR systems.
  • Cross-Sector and Cross-Segment Collaboration: Working across various sectors and segments to ensure integrated and cohesive solutions.
  • Adjacent Technologies Knowledge: Possessing knowledge of adjacent technologies like electronic warfare to enhance the overall system effectiveness.
  • Technical Customer Relationship Ownership: Owning and managing the technical relationship with customers to ensure their requirements are met and exceeded.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong understanding and experience with the L3Harris Falcon Radio product line, including applications for network-centric communications for command and control systems
  • Strong understanding of military vehicle networks, including expertise in integrating various communication protocols (such as CAN, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, etc.) and a wide array of sensors (such as RADAR, LIDAR, EO/IR, SIGINT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the challenges associated with interoperability, data fusion, and real-time processing within dynamic and constrained environments
  • Familiarity with modern network-enabled warfighting concepts, such as JADC2. Candidate must have an extensive working and conceptual knowledge of modern military operations, and capabilities
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following L3Harris pursuits/programs: ELTS, Bahrain C4I, Morocco C4I, KSA C4I
  • Design of scalable C4ISR systems that supports federation, redundancy, and interoperability at all levels
  • Understanding of Joint Operations and the required tools to support the analysis of data and generation of products/reports
  • Design and drive the application of AI and ML techniques to C4ISR systems
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile methodologies) and the integration/interfacing with legacy systems
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture standards such as TOGAF or DODAF
  • Strong technical presentation and proposal writing skills
  • Ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver architecture solutions and proposals
  • Develop and execute customer engagement strategies
  • Ability to build trust with external customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive ideas for internal R&D projects to support future C4I differentiators
  • Familiarity with L3Harris R&D processes
