Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of professional hands-on experience with electrical system-level development, integration, and testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve issues
Responsibilities
  • Defining Avionics system architecture and completing trades regarding performance, complexity, risk, and effort
  • Driving the vehicle-level design, testing, and integration of avionics hardware
  • Implementing an electrical system design that meets system-level and certification requirements
  • Owning multiple components (IMUs, air data computers, batteries) and ensuring their installation, verification, and certification at the aircraft level
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline
  • Experience developing system architectures and managing requirements across multiple interfaces
  • Experience integrating and troubleshooting various electronic sensors and components
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to assess risk and make design and development decisions without all available data
  • Experience designing, drafting, and building aerospace wiring harnesses
  • Proven track record of shipping products and completing projects
