  • Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and assist with resident care and interventions.
Responsibilities
  • Build positive, therapeutic relationships with adolescents.
  • Observe, document, and report resident behaviors, moods, and physical conditions.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, feeding, mobility, and personal care.
  • Obtain vital signs and assist nursing staff with routine medical care.
  • Escort residents to meals, school, therapy groups, recreation, and appointments.
  • Teach and model healthy coping skills, communication, and daily living skills.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, structured, and trauma-informed environment.
  • Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Assist with physical interventions only when necessary and according to facility training.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary treatment team to support individualized care plans.

  • Previous experience in behavioral health, healthcare, residential treatment, or social services.
  • Experience working with adolescents.
  • Background in psychology, nursing, human services, criminal justice, education, or social work.
