Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of direct strategic and consultative sales experience is required.
  • The ability to listen effectively, communicate clearly, build key relationships, and manage numerous concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.

  • The ability and willingness to travel to and from campuses and professional development activities is required.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with campus and Systems Office leaders to build campus strategy related to employer connections, training, and completion metrics.
  • Integrate workforce pipeline strategies, including apprenticeship, internship, work-and-learn, and placement programs, in partnership with the Talent Connection Manager.
  • Handle marketing, enrollment, data management and analysis, and assistance with workforce program design and development.
  • Monitor and respond to demand-driven needs and skills gaps in key economic sectors within the campus service area.
  • Establish, maintain, and cultivate collaborative employer partnerships and provide consulting services focused on employer needs.
  • Implement voice-of-the-customer processes to co-develop workforce programs and products.
  • Use workforce-development agency data and customer data to align services with workforce needs.
  • Collaborate with college deans, department and program chairs, faculty, and staff to implement credit and non-credit workforce development programs.
  • Participate in local business organizations to build relationships with employers, community organizations, and economic development partners.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for entities seeking workforce training and development information, resources, and solutions.
  • Support K-14 pipeline development, Achieve Your Degree, apprenticeship, and other workforce pathways.
  • Promote dual credit, youth options, open houses, and campus events across the service-area school districts.
  • Share employer information and contacts through Salesforce, Google Docs, team meetings, annual summits, and retreats.
  • Work with the marketing department to create awareness of credit and non-credit educational services for business and industry.
  • Assist program chairs and deans with recruiting and developing school-specific advisory boards.
  • Develop and present program proposals and grant applications with subject-matter experts and academic leaders while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
  • Participate in training, education, and professional development activities needed to remain current in the skills and knowledge required for the job.
  • Perform other duties logically associated with the position as assigned.
  • Conduct responsibilities within FERPA, applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
