  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, English, Journalism or related area.
  • 10+ years of corporate communications experience in the healthcare space or pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive global communication strategies internally and externally to support the business unit's brand priorities, including partnering with Public Affairs, Investor Relations, Global Media Relations, and affiliate to ensure aligned messaging and positioning.
  • Develop and implement thought leadership and engagement plans for global franchise leadership. Direct and deliver effective executive communications and thought leadership.
  • Provide strategic leadership in the creation and implementation of impactful global communication programs, internally and externally, across multiple brand areas. This will include but is not limited to disease awareness/brand integration programs; branded communication activity; digital communications; and new products.
  • Drive a comprehensive communications strategy leading up to and throughout the launch of late-stage candidate, including disease awareness and branded communications.
  • Lead communications around key data and regulatory milestones for marketed and late-stage assets.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of brands, including strategy, objectives, patient needs, competitor landscape, and HCP landscape, and apply this knowledge to communications approach.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of the overall digital and social media landscape with the ability to deliver innovative approaches and plans within this growing and important space.
  • Manage multiple global PR/communications agencies and associated budgets.
  • Liaise and partner with global Public Affairs and Corporate Affairs colleagues.
