  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in science or a related field
  • Masters in a science or regulatory discipline or Doctorate preferred
  • Extensive experience (at least 15 years) in regulatory affairs with a strong focus on global strategy and multi-year planning in the pesticide industry
  • Supervise Global Product Science Leads and Regulatory Managers
  • Lead an informed team connected to business priorities and global regulatory and scientific trends
  • Develop and protect databases to support and defend Gowan’s portfolio and pipeline worldwide
  • Advocate scientific underpinnings and aspects of company plans and product specific actions
  • Work closely with R&D personnel and facilities globally to build deep internal product knowledge
  • Collaborate with Development and Formulations to identify, develop, and execute opportunities
  • Communicate and align with supply, quality, and manufacturing to assess needs and implications of changes in product supply strategies
  • Work with Regional Ag Relations Functions to communicate and defend technical attributes of Gowan Company products
  • Represent regulatory positions and strategies on Asset Teams
  • Guide new product selection with Business Development and synchronize new product advancement with Development
  • Participate in Gowan Group task forces and key internal projects to improve business processes
  • Manage budgeting, people development, and succession planning for the group
  • Educate employees and stakeholders on the regulatory process and its protection to humans and the environment
