Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university in related field and 0-2 years of directly related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
  • Contact will be made through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, and faxes to communicate opportunities to customers.
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them of current and new products and services.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant products, policies, services, vendors and methods of delivery.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements; learn to answer questions about product or services.
  • Close sales with price quote, credit terms, and prepare sales order
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of delivery schedules
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships.
  • Enter and update customer information in the database.
  • Responsible for attaining quarterly quotas
  • Serve as the OEM liaison for the OEM orders projections.
  • Weekly orders forecast reports and data analysis reporting
  • Management of the orders funnel (pipeline)
  • Administering OEM contracts (working with Contracts dept.)
  • Onboarding of new OEMs
  • Maintaining price lists, discounts, and territories where applicable
  • Following up with the product manager(s) and Engineering on pending tasks that the OEMs are waiting for
  • Primary Salesforce.com admin
  • Working with the direct sales channels to resolve and OEM vs. Direct issues that arise
  • Handling escalated customer service issues
  • Reporting on historicals and projections
  • Performing account reviews with the key OEMs to see if both sides lived up to their expectations as per the agreements.
